Equinox Digital Signage

One of the first projects I discussed with the Chief Marketing Officer upon joining Equinox, that took a major team effort to produce. Previously, announcements and class schedules were written on chalk boards, which is the antithesis of the Equinox experience. I worked with Marketing, IT, and nearly every business line in the company, to change all of that. The pilot of this program was key to really sell the proof of concept. We chose 4 clubs across the country to install 47″ digital screens which could be stitched together, or work independently. This had to be a beautiful spatial experience that had value for our members. In addition to class schedules, promotions and other marketing content, we integrated motion elements and video, social media elements and hyper local information to deliver a beautiful experience. I lead the entire project from the concept, design, development and deployment. It stops traffic in the clubs.

After overwhelmingly positive response, we pitched and secured budget to roll these amazing screens out company-wide – 56 locations in 2012.
